My name is Alicia 'Lish' Rose, and I am an artist/photographer based in the Chillicothe, OH area.
Lish Rose Designs is a home-based studio that strives to provide creative digital media art and photography.
All About Me
My inspiration comes from many places. I really love art and design and I'm always looking for things to be inspired by.
Each year, my work grows and evolves into something bigger, more interesting, and better.
As an artist, there is no greater pleasure for me than finding genuine growth and improvement in my projects. As I have grown and matured, so has my art.
While I was younger, I drew and painted all the time. My dream was to be an artist, but like many, those type of 'dream' jobs got pushed to the wayside by other plans in life. Becoming a mom at a young age, being a responsible parent was the main priority.
Fast forward and now I'm working on accomplishing some goals and dreams!
Like many amateur photographers, I've taken many photos. Mostly of my kids, flowers in my garden, travel pictures on family vacations/holidays, and various landscapes. But after doing both of my daughters' senior photos, that's when I realized I could turn this into something than just a hobby.

It has been a goal of mine for some time now to get my own business started and photography has always been an interest of mine.
Now that I live in an area that I have been through so many times, (I never imagined living there!), everyday I get to enjoy a view of the river that runs along my backyard and has inspired me with some good photography spots and backgrounds.

I live with my hubby of 20 years and my two dogs. One thing we really love to do is go on cruises! During the warmer months, we also love to kayak on the river with our dogs.
Some other favorite hobbies are drawing (when I can, lol) and making crafts with my
Cricut machine (mine is yellow!).
